CyberZen final team to qualify for StarLadder Season 6 Finals | News
CyberZen have officially booked the final qualifier spot at the LAN finals of StarSeries & i-League Season 6 Finals following their successful best-of-3 losers’ finals series in the Asian closed qualifier for the $300,000 event. The Chinese team had a spectacular run, eventually knocked into the lower bracket after TyLoo bested them in the winners’ finals 2-1, in turn securing their own qualification for the LAN finals.
The team then went on to face South Korean reps, MVP PK, whom they defeated 2-1, thus securing the second, and final Asian qualifier spot at the LAN finals of the event. MVP initially secured the upper hand over CyberZen, as the Koreans managed a 16-14 snatch on Inferno. This triumph was followed by two very close maps in Nuke and Mirage, the prior of which saw a 19-16 overtime victory for the Chinese, followed by a close call at 16-13. With this success CyberZen concluded the list of qualified teams, leaving just two to receive direct invites to the LAN finals.
