ELUSIVE retires; bLacKpoisoN to play with Denial

In a statement which can be read here, ELUSIVE has said that he is retiring from Counter-Strike to go back to university in South Africa, where his credits will expire in 2021 due to curricular changes, making his return an imperative.

After parting ways with Bravado and Dimitri “Detrony” Hadjipaschali, the team is going through what ELUSIVE calls a build-up phase, and with his academic priorities in sight, ELUSIVE has preferred to step down now than in the near future so the team doesn’t have to go through another period of changes then.

bLacKpoisoN will join his countrymen in North America

To take his place will be bLacKpoisoN, the South African player formerly of Bravado who moved to Sweden in 2015 to play in Europe and who joined eNergy upon returning home.

Crossing the pond, bLacKpoisoN is now teaming up with Denial in the same way as Dominic “Domsterr” Sampaio, trying out for the team during the WESG World Finals and the MDL season before a final decision is made by all parties.

With the addition of bLacKpoisoN, Denial looks as follows:

South AfricaAran “Sonic” Groesbeek
South AfricaJohnny “JT” Theodosiou
South AfricaRhys “Fadey” Armstrong
South AfricaRobby “bLacKpoisoN” Da Loca (trial)
South AfricaDominic “Domsterr” Sampaio (trial)
