MIBR confirm kNgV- signing

MIBR confirm kNgV- signing | HLTV.org

The 26-year-old talent joins the team as a replacement for Marcelo “coldzera” David, who was moved to the bench in July after informing the organisation of his desire to take up a new challenge elsewhere.

First reported by Dexerto, MIBR‘s interest in kNgV- became even more firm once the player successfully obtained a US P-1 visa, which will allow him to travel to the country again after two years in which he was refused entry after being caught playing for Immortals on a tourist visa.

The Brazilian star joins MIBR after a year with INTZ

kNgV- had been on INTZ‘s books since September 2018, when the organisation signed the NoTag roster. He was instrumental in helping the team reach their first-ever Major, two months ago. The Brazilians would be sent packing in the New Challengers Stage with a 0-3 record following defeats to North, Vitality and Grayhound.

In MIBR, kNgV- will reunite with Lucas “LUCAS1” Teles, who is currently on loan from Luminosity. The pair were part of the squad that finished in second place at PGL Major Krakow 2017 under Immortals, who acquired the iconic MIBR brand from founder Paulo Velloso last year.

“Today I become part of a great team and probably the most popular one in the entire world, with a long history and with players who probably and literally won everything in CS:GO,” kNgV- wrote in a Twitlonger post.

“I am very excited for this new phase in my life and I will give my best to be the difference they needed for better results. We’ve been practicing already, and in only 10 minutes with them in the server, I already felt that good things are about to come.

“I believe that what I am living now is the fruit of my labour and learnings. I also like to think that God writes straight with crooked lines, and finally my turn has come. I have the consciousness that I am where any other Brazilian player would like to be, and I fought and worked really hard to be here.

“I know I have failed a lot in the past, but I believe that everyone always deserves a second chance in life, and this is mine. For this organization I will finish what I started two years ago.”

kNgV- has been playing with his new teammates since INTZ‘s elimination at the Major as MIBR prepare for their first tournament with the new line-up, BLAST Pro Series Moscow, scheduled for September 13-14. A week later, the team will attend the V4 Future Sports Festival, in Budapest.

INTZ have not yet made any comments about kNgV-‘s replacement, but reports in Brazil have linked the organisation with Bruno “shz” Martinelli, who was recently benched by Keyd.
