The Imperial complete roster by signing hAdji, pounh | News
British esports organisation The Imperial has solidified its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster with two new signings. The up-and-coming squad – who have had some impressive placements recently – have announced the acquisition of both Eimantas “pounh” Lazickas and Ali “hAdji” Hainouss.

This squad has undergone a number of roster changes in the past couple of months, never really finding a solid base of players that it can move forward with. On Jun 10., Kevin “kRYSTAL” Amend joined from Sprout, before Rokas “EspiranTo” Milasauskas left, citing bad chemistry between the two of them. On Jul. 25., kRYSTAL was benched, alongside Jesper “tenzki” Plougmann, in favour of bringing back EspiranTo and trialling both pounh and Nikola “Lobanjica” Mijomanović. Just four days later, Lobajica was released from his trial. This news is the latest development in the side — and hopefully the last for a while.
The complete roster that now represents The Imperial is as follows:
In the not-so-distant past, The Imperial took first place at DreamHack Summer 2018 after defeating OpTic Gaming in the grand finals; they placed 3rd-4th at ZOTAC Cup Masters 2018. Europe; and most recently, they placed second in the StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 6. Europe + CIS qualifier.
